Nice to meet you, I’m Rob! I was serious and stoic as a kid, but loosened up and learned to be a bit goofy and enjoy life and people. I once wanted to be a talk show host since I love hearing others’ perspectives and debating opinions – that’s why I’m excited to start this channel with Serge. He’s bright and articulate and people tell us we’d make an interesting duo, debating a variety of topics from two very different perspectives – Gen X and Gen Z. Hence was born: X2Zchat! I grew up in Silicon Valley and escaped its whirlwind when I headed to UCSB for undergrad. I lived in California my whole life until 2021 when I relocated to the Pacific Northwest. I love it here: the rain, tall trees and beautiful greenery! If I won a billion-dollar lottery, I would open a summer and winter camp for kids and teens, plus a winery with event-catering and an on-site bed and breakfast.
Hello! I'm Serge. I love kicking back, gaming, having fun and – a good debate! I graduated from UW with a Bachelors in Computer Science & Software Engineering and landed a career I love at the age of 20. I guess you could say I am a bit of a tech geek who always has a passion project he is working on! I am super excited to start this channel after growing up watching and being inspired by other creators. In general, I respect the art of content creation. For me, this channel is a great way to engage with YOU, plus I see it as a magnum opus project, with the hope that the content will continue on and be watched someday by future descendants.
